In fact your presence on this auspicious occasion has made it very special for us and we feel really inspired.

This event gives me a great opportunity to highlight the achievements accomplished by the school. The school has once again excelled not only in academics but also in co-curricular and extra co-curricular activities.

In academic , the school produced an excellent result in class  XII & all  students passed with flying colours. It is my privilege to share that KV Nabha Cantt  got III position in KVS Chandigarh Region in class XII result. Sandeep Kaur of class XII got I position with 86% marks in Commerce Stream.

In Class X,  33 students appeared and Out of ,33 students 29 students of our vidyalaya passed. Jashanpreet Kaur of class X got  I position with 88.9% marks in board examination.

To ensure further improvement, persistent efforts are being made. The remedial classes, PTA Meetings, Counseling sessions, Adolescence Education Programme and group discussions, Guest Lectures  are taken up regularly to achieve the target. To inculcate the moral values among  students, Awakened citizen programme has been started for class VII.

Ladies & Gentlemen!’ Learning by Doing,’ ‘Learning by living’ and Learning without Tears’ are the main characteristics of new education. Philosophical Sociological ideas have brought about a change in the concept of education. Crying need of the hour is the ‘education for democracy’ and hence I strongly believe that  education must aim at producing those individuals who can intelligently amicably participate in the various activities of life. Traditional Curriculum failed to meet the demands of the changing concept of education.

The curricular programme is a convenient tool by which an inadequate curriculum may be notified. To enliven the routine of our academic work , vidyalaya has  conducted a number of activities in the form of Inter House Competitions, Extempore speech (Hindi/Eng), Debate, Elocutions, Song, Dance (Solo/Group Song), Quiz, Essay Writing, Drawing & Painting competitions.
